Turkey Flat Barossa Shiraz 2012 (750ml)

Turkey Flat Barossa Shiraz 2012 (750ml)

As we’d expected there was no shortage of quality Shiraz to hit the bench again this year and it was really little surprise upon revealing the winner, here given the pedigree and stature. Argued by many in the know as one of the best they have produced to date, Turkey Flat Shiraz is sourced from some of the oldest vines in the world. Planted in 1847 to be specific! Totally dry grown and from a spectacular vintage the results are simply sensational.

This luxurious full-bodied wine immediately invites you in with fresh aromatics, then showcases a restrained power of great finesse and elegance, coupled with fine tannins and a lingering finish. Tastes of boysenberry, blackberry, violet, earth, clove, toast and cedarwood.
