Back in April 2019 we teamed up with the legends at Starward in Melbourne to make a special release exclusively for the Club – little did we expect (well we sort of guessed once we tasted it!) that it would become one of our most sought-after and collected releases, with Starward fans, Members and Non-Members alike, still chasing down any remaining bottles today.
Flooded with Members requests for more, we got in touch with our friends down at Bertie Street and we’re delighted to introduce the sequel we’ve all been waiting for – STARWARD’s follow-up to that legendary Charred Red Wine Cask:
Starward Charred Red Wine Single Cask, Created Exclusively for The Whisky Club.
A set of three single casks all presented at a cracking 55.4% ABV cask strength and matured in unique 300l American oak charred red wine casks from the Barossa Valley, this is a big, beautiful, rich and intense single malt that once again takes Starward’s signature style to the next level… a riotous malty feast of strawberry jam, baking spices, juicy red fruits, oak tannins and deep toasty malt.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
