Bruichladdich Octomore Edition 10.1 (700ml)
The Octomore series is a powerful illustration of the art of the master distiller with each bottling necessarily unique, limited and never to be reproduced. Each individual expression is hand-crafted by the Progressive Hebridean Distiller’s of Bruichladdich on the remote island of Islay. For Octomore 10.1, the nose is vanilla led, caramel with hints of smoke but tamed back. Notes of candied apple, gooseberry and marzipan. Soft yet powerful and warming on the palate, peppery, barley sugar, smokey – dried earth and hints of rubber. Warm sand, sweetness of charred oak and pineapple.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
