Teusner Albert 2011 Barossa Valley (750ml)
Pencils, five spice (plenty of pepper in the mix), vanilla, fresh blackberry and mulberry and chocolate. Medium to full bodied with a slightly viscous feel, then a little astringency but a core of plump mulberried fruit carries the day. Has some aromatic dried herb in there, attractive powdery tannin and pretty decent sort of finish " somewhat tart and herbal " but pretty satisfying. A pretty different sort of Albert, but a good wine nonetheless."
