Old Fitzgerald 2003 Bottles-In-Bond 19YO (750ml) Rare
Old Fitzgerald's bi-annual releases are differentiated by the colour of the labels and arrive with varying age statements. Each handsome antique replica decanter comes with an old style 'tax strip' that discloses when the bourbon was produced and bottled. Aged for well over four years these whiskies far exceed the standards of the 'Bottled in Bond Act of 1897' and are some of the oldest Bottled in Bond examples on the market.
This is a Heaven Hill-era version, distilled at their Berheim distillery in Fall 2003 and bottled in Fall 2022. These premium Bottled in Bond releases were first produced in 2018 and are an homage to the Van Winkle era product. They are released twice a year, once in spring with a green label, and again with a black label in the autumn.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
